Rockland Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Alleged Abduction

Rockland police said a 9-year-old boy was taken by an unknown man near Memorial Park School Tuesday afternoon, but was released about 25 minutes later.

The kidnapper was described as a white male with a thin build with white hair that was longer in the back than on the top. He was driving a four-door sedan that was white or gray, and the vehicle has white or silver wheels or hubcaps.

The Rockland Police Department is asking anyone who was in the area of Memorial Park School Tuesday afternoon at dismissal time and noticed the vehicle or man to please call the Rockland Police Department Detective Division at 781-871-3890, ext. 122.

Also, police said, anyone who was in the area of Lake Street in Abington between 2:25 and 2:45 p.m. Tuesday and saw the man or vehicle to call the Rockland Police Detective Unit.
